DAY 100!!!!!!

100 Days in a ROW!!

I made a promise to myself to blog every single day.

As you may have noticed, I have a few things going on lol… yesterday was a bad one, today is a good one. BUT blogging helps, it helped yesterday, it’ll help tomorrow…

So, to celebrate my 100 I took a day off from pushing myself. I think I did one wee NFT post this morning, but that’s it. No pushing calendars, cards, prints, canvases and/or NFT’s

Today was about the work…. about the art…. and working on making it ALL work a lot better.

If I expect success on the NFT market, and if I expect to raise an eyebrow or two with my work, I need to push it.

I need to do what I always strive to do, take the everyday and make it extraordinary…

Here’s a couple of frequently photographed landmarks done, well, differently….

I hope this is what separates me from the pack and elevates my art…

Happy 100!

Hope you stick around for 100 more….

All the best!

Tickle Cove et al-day 96-Sept 4, 2021

So folks tonight’s blog is going to be a little different, tonight tonight it’s all about the photos.

Here’s what I saw today

Remember to visit my NFT collection. The link is at the top of the page under any is under OpenSea NFT

Until tomorrow have a great night and thanks for all the love and support.

All the very best.

Home-Day 95-Sept 3, 2021

Hello everybody.

So I tried to log in to my block site on my computer and for some reason it wouldn’t accept my password which is weird because it’s the same one I use on my mobile device which is what I am blogging on now.

I’m doing this voice to text so if there’s any weirdness or awkward pacing then I’m going to blame it on that and be done with it lol.

So today I launched my NFT collection Twillingate Explored and while it’s gained a lot of activity on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook there haven’t been any sales. I would be more discouraged if it weren’t for the stories of other photographers that I’ve been reading that waited a long time for their collections to move as well.

Look I knew this wasn’t going to be a Is get rich quick scheme or anything like that. I knew it wasn’t going to be as easy as posting a bunch of photos and having people spend their hard earned money on them. It’s going to take time to build an audience and to get people engaged in what I’m doing.

I still very much believe in the platform and the idea of NFTS.

Tomorrow morning though I am getting up and visiting one of my favorite places and doing some much needed photo therapy.

Until tomorrow have a great evening and we will speak soon.

Twillingate-Day 24-June 24, 2021

As well be the norm moving forward we start with a video blog!

Ok, so before I forget. The gentleman who has spent many many years cataloguing and mapping the root cellars in the Twillingate area is Troy Mitchell. A link to a VOCM article on him can be found here, and you can visit his Facebook group for more information as well as a link to the map!

As I said, not a lot of new photos today, though I did get a few, including, not without some irony, a root cellar….

But honestly, the absolute treasure I found this day was this weathered toy boat, made the slog to the top worthwhile.

Just precious, and its been a pleasure seeing folks react to this one, talking about fond childhood memories of their own.

I do hope you are enjoying these blogs, if there is anything else you would like to see here please let me know!

Thanks for joining me on this journey!

Don’t forget, if you love the work, think about purchasing a piece or purchasing a coffee. I have lots of klicks to cover this summer, and your support was never more appreciated.
